Classic place to get dim sum and noodles in Chinatown. House Of Dim Sum is full of flavors and smells like you would expect. It may be at first overwhelming to choose something. Has a lot to choose from. There's a dining area upstairs. At lunch it was a good place to go. It's usually busy but the lines typically aren't that long. The lines are mostly from those trying to choose something. Have an idea what to get before going. The best drink is the Thai Tea. Dumplings are the main things of course. It's about $6 to get a few. After looking through what they had we got the Spinach Dumplings. These were full of vegetables such as carrots, mushrooms, and peas. Also has side items like the Vegetable Chow Mein. These helped make it a complete meal and leave satisfied. Has a crap ton of dumplings. It's also known for the noodles and lots of other good sides. There's good options for vegetarians.

Good, authentic dim sum at reasonable prices. - service was very quick (ordered and got food in about 3 mins) - a bit crowded and loud but good enough to catch up with a friend - not a lot of tables but people finish fairly quickly - it isn't the type of dim sum with carts, you order at the counter - lots of variety to choose from and they take card

Amazing customer service, good prices, and delicious food! We were in a rush and needed something yummy to eat and decided to stop by after smelling the yummy food from outside and seeing all the customers going in and out. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and helped. They had all their dim sum on display so that you could pick which items you wanted and how much. The lady seeing us was extremely helpful and full of recommendations on things that locals love and things that I might like. Everything was priced decently and ended up being more than enough for both my fiancé and I. From the moment we walked in, to getting our food and walking out, everything was done very quickly. We decided to get the food to go and eat elsewhere, and even after the time it took us to walk, the food was still nice and hot. The food was FULL of flavor. The dumplings were huge and packed full of filling. My favorite was the shrimp and chives dumplings. They were full of both shrimp and chives and not skimpy or full of dough. The sauce they gave with the dumplings complimented them very well and gave an extra boost of flavor. My fiancé who's a picky eater, even loved the food. House of Dim Sum has delicious food and great prices. It's a little loud inside for my taste, personally, but if that doesn't bother you, then dining in isn't too bad. We went during the day on a Friday so that might have affected our experience. Thank you to the lady who gave us yummy recommendations! Thanks to her, I now have a new favorite dim sum. Definitely worth a visit!
